Dr. Darrel Crain has been adjusting families in the San Diego area for eleven years, helping kids of all ages discover the natural health they were born to enjoy. In 2005, Dr. Crain realized his dream of practicing at the ranch where he lives in Alpine, California. This location is the site of the original and historic Alpine Ranch, his family’s home since 1962. Outside the window in the adjusting room of the old house stands a mighty oak tree over 250 years old. This peaceful enclave, a bit of paradise thirty miles east of San Diego in Southern California, is the perfect setting for a complete healing journey.

Dr. Crain is a 1998 Cum Laude graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles. He is an elected member on the Board of Directors of the California Chiropractic Association, San Diego County District (CCA-SDCD) for the past seven years and recently completed two consecutive terms as president of the CCA Board of Directors.

An active and outspoken supporter of chiropractic and natural health and healing, Dr. Crain is a writer whose natural health columns have appeared in The Alpine Sun newspaper over several years. His articles have also been published in journals, magazines and newsletters throughout the country and are featured on numerous websites around the world.

Dr. Crain and his wife of 29 years, Nancy Teas-Crain, are blessed with two boys, John, 21, and Charlie, 17. John is finishing up his engineering degree at San Francisco State University, while Charlie still lives at home and attends Granite Hills high school.

Nancy Teas-Crain, Dr. Crain’s wife, is a Registered Dietitian and is available for nutritional counseling through our office.
